چکیده

where x(t), y(t) and z(t) are differentiable functions in t. The vector ċ is called tangent vector. A curve point c(t0), t0 ∈ I is called regular if ċ(t0) 6= o. A parametrization is called regular, if ċ(t) 6= o for all t ∈ I. Any differentable change of the parameter τ = τ(t) does not change the curve. Moreover, if τ̇ 6= 0 in I then d(t) = c(τ(t)) is also a regular parametrization. A curve which admits a regular parametrization is called regular. A parametric surface is given by s : s(u, v) =  x(u, v) y(u, v) z(u, v)  , (u, v) ∈ [a, b]× [c, d] = I × J ⊂ R

Modeling the evolution of cells outgrowth due to the force exerted by actins

Motility and membrane deformation are crucial to motile cells. Therefore formation of protrusion in the membrane has been the subject of various studies. The stable shape of the membrane and also its movements are controlled by the forces exerted by actin filaments. In order to study the protrusion behavior, we represented a toy model based on actin filaments polar characteristic and elastic ch...

Improvement in the Performance of Online Control Applications via Enhanced Modeling Techniques

Modern process control is based on process modeling. Advanced process control (APC), real time optimization (RTO), process monitoring, operator training simulation, abnormal situation management (ASM) and fault detection and isolation (FDI) are all based on some kind of process modeling. Models are a very effective way to embed “knowledge” in process automation, which has increased its “autonom...

Modeling of Nanofiltration for ‎Concentrated Electrolyte Solutions using ‎Linearized Transport Pore Model

In this study, linearized transport pore model (LTPM) is applied for modeling nanofiltration (NF) membrane separation process. This modeling approach is based on the modified extended Nernst-Planck equation enhanced by Debye-Huckel theory to take into account the variations of activity coefficient especially at high salt concentrations. Rejection of single-salt (NaCl) electrolyte is inve...

Modeling of Chloride Ion Separation by Nanofiltration Using Machine Learning Techniques

In this work, several machine learning techniques are presented for nanofiltration modeling. According to the results, specific errors are defined. The rejection due to Nanofiltration increases with pressure but decreases with increasing the concentration of chloride ion. Methods of machine learning represent the rejection of nanofiltration as a function of concentration, pH, pressure and also ...

Validation of a Preliminary Model of Cultural Identity for Iranian Advanced EFL Learners: A Structural Equation Modeling Approach

This study was an endeavor to develop a model of cultural identity among Iranian advanced EFL learners. To achieve this end, a multiphase design was implemented. Initially, it was attempted to investigate different factors of cultural identity to propose and validate a model. Thus, 20 EFL learners studying in Safir English language institute in Tehran were interviewed about their views of their...
